The UBCOEGM is a member of the The REDCap Consortium.
REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) is a browser-based, metadata-driven EDC software solution and workflow methodology for designing clinical and translational research databases. It is widely used in the academic research community: the REDCap Consortium is a collaborative, international network of more than 250 institutional partners, with more than 20,000 total end-users employing the software more than 30,000 ongoing research studies.
REDCap is composed of 457 active institutional partners from CTSA, GCRC, RCMI and other institutions in 49 countries. The consortium supports a secure web application (REDCap) designed exclusively to support data capture for research studies.
The REDCap application allows users to build and manage online surveys and databases quickly and securely, and is currently in production use or development build-status for more than 44,040 projects with over 58,990 users spanning numerous research focus areas across the consortium.
